Wing Hang Bank, a member of the BCT shareholder group announced the change of its Chinese name from "永亨銀行有限公司" to "華僑永亨銀行有限公司" and its English name from "Wing Hang Bank, Limited" to "OCBC Wing Hang Bank Limited" took effect on 29 September 2014. The website of the bank also changed from "www.whbhk.com" to "www.ocbcwhhk.com" with effect from 1 October 2014 to reflect the change of its name.
The change of Wing Hang Bank's name will not affect it as a member of the BCT shareholder group and BCT's business operation.
